Red Fish Blue
03:27

Well I’m rotten and I’m mean a bigger fish you’ve never seen
My nose is hooked my back is humped my smell is obscen
Spent 5 long years in the big salt no more will I roam
Make a mad dash up the river 400 miles ‘til I’m home
I’m a red fish blue, red fish blue
Red fish blue, red fish blue
Well I’m the king of these waters no one can take me down
Hooks and roe might bait me but by now you’ll have found
My purpose is selfless its part of my bond
And I’ll die trying to make sure that I’ve spawned
I’m looking for my lady and I’m practically dead
Whats this I see before me another fish in my bed
I guess my time is coming not sure I want to see
The rake of that claw fast food for Mr. Grizzly
River roll me, pound me, I’ll do it again
River roll me, pound me, I’ll do it again

Digging A Hole
02:49
|
|||
Digging a hole in the back of my mind
Scoop out one shovel full at a time
Digging a hole
To bury the memory of you
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole
Toss in the way that our hands fit together
The way your smile always makes me feel better
The time I spent
On those cheesy love letters too
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole
forget about the plans we made and
throw away the junk that we accumulated
But I can’t get rid of the over rated truth
I’m still in love with you
I’m still in love with you
I’m still in love with you
Digging a hole in the back of my mind
Scoop out one shovel full at a time
Digging a hole
To bury the memory of you
Too long you’ve been stuck in my thoughts
You should be forgotten
Yeah but you’re not
Every day spent hopelessly dreaming of you
I’m still in love with you
Digging a hole in the back of my mind
Scoop out one shovel full at a time
Digging a hole
To bury the memory of you
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole
Digging a hole, Digging a hole, Digging a hole……….

Zombie Town
03:58
|
|||
Its November ’44 near the end of the second world war
On home defense things just got tense and they’re bitter to the core
Serving their time at the end of the line cold and soggy but out of the hunt
Word comes down can’t believe the sound they’re being shipped out to the front
Thats it. Forget. it You sweat it. I’ll do no harm for your army
I’m an AWOL Fusilier refuse to fight your fight
I’m a Zombie, I’m a mutineer and I’ll take up arms to defend my right
Get the message to your brass get the troop trains off the track
The Copper is a better place by far for the steel of your bullets never to attack
In Zombie Town we’re gonna weed it out, we’re gonna find the source
We’re gonna snuff this out with a show of force
Thats it. Forget. it You sweat it. I’ll do no harm for your army
65 thousand rounds plus 1500 men can’t add them to your war today
They’re divided on that plan
In Zombie Town we’re gonna weed it out, we’re gonna find the source
We’re gonna snuff this out with a show of force

Meandrathal

My teacher tells me that the quickest way
To get to point B when you start at point A
Is a simple straight line well that might be true
But it's certainly not what I intend to do
Because to me point A is right here and now
And Point B the end of my life and somehow
It seems a bit crazy to play it straight
If thats gonna get me there the quickest way
No I'd rather be more like an oxbow river winding
Twisted any way that I can
Leaving smiley faces in the places that I've visited
Simply meander Meanderthal.....

Lost In Oz
05:34
|
|||
We ate steak and kidney at a pub in Sydney we found them tough to chew.
We decided to go to the Melbourne show and to visit their famous zoo
Bought you opals and jade in Adelaide shaped like a little kangaroo
But I’m alone out here drinking too much beer trying to figure out, how I lost you.
I was s’pposed to meet you in Uluru in the shade of the big monolith
But I heard you’d gone to Woolongong I can tell you, I’m a little miffed.
And as the sun goes down all the red and the brown in the shadows on the rock begin to shift
And from Alice Springs they say your voice still rings if its so, that’s where I lost you.
I’m searching for you but its me whose lost
Looking for love in the Land of Oz (that's Australia).
Should I dive in my grief at the Barrier Reef find an island so remote
With the turtles and the herons just east of Cairns a pain too deep to ever float
Maybe I’ll go where it’s hot even though you're not on the coast near Darwin
So I'll hop a train through the Nullarbor plain even though that's where I lost you
I’m searching for you but its me whose lost
Looking for love in the Land of Oz (The Antepodes, Van Diemens land).
Take my broken heart cross the Strait to Hobart where Tasmanian Devils live
I could watch their sharp teeth chew up the raw meat cause I’d have nothing left to give
I would follow your track thru the great outback if that's all I had to do
But for what its worth I still like Perth even though that's where I lost you.
I’m searching for you but its me whose lost
Looking for love in the Land of Oz ( where's those Kangaroos).

Waves In The Way
04:23
|
|||
She’s more than a bathtub but less than a boat
And I’ve still got seven more miles to row
To my cannery home and the darks overwhelming the day
If I don’t see the light before I’m in the dark
There’ll be no more reason for pulling so hard
In this cloudy cathedral there’s no stars to show me the way
Pulling for home
So many waves in the way
Pulling for home
So many waves in the way
Its up early morning and fishing all day
The nets in the nets out your back ought to break
Lost in the fog or caught in the cold coastal rain
But she’s full to the gunnels with Sockeye today
The seasons been good and the company pays
And there’s more for tomorrow if I make it back home today
My wife and my children work hard every day
Canning the fish that I pull from the sea
And they’re waiting for me on the dock in the dark in the rain
What’s that I see from the crest of this wave
The beacon to guide me back into the bay
Joy washes over me as fear falls away and I’m safe

Crazy On The Dance Floor
02:08
|
|||
The doctor said get out of bed and he was probably right
But I slept in instead cause I was feeling half dead
I was feeling sore from the night before, when I went
Crazy on the dance floor
The doctor said get on your feet and he was probably right
But I went back to sleep cause I was feeling beat
I was feeling sore from the night before, when I went
Crazy on the dance floor
The doctor said give me a call if there’s anything at all
I can do for you but I know it isn't true cause the thing that I want
Is the thing that I’m seeing him for, I wanna go
Crazy on the dance floor

Settle in for me, settle in and calm it down
And I’ll make my way
Settle in for me, settle in and calm it down
And I’ll make my way
River’s cold a like a rattlesnake
Listen what your big daddy say
Baby daughter don’t fight that wave
I’ll get to you or I’ll find my grave
Well it’s over for me, and it is over for you
And they will find my body, but they will never find you

Walk Away
02:49
|
|||
Ever stood on the sand
With the tide coming in
And it felt like the beach
Going out
Well there’s no solid ground
When temptation comes around
You’ve got to turn your back on it
And walk away
For the waves will wash over you
And the undertow will pull you
And toss you about in the spray
And what first seems a thrill
Will drown you until you
Turn your back on it
And walk away
It’s a terrible hunger
But your will can be stronger
And a joy will await your release
For the prize that you’ll take
When you master your fate
Is knowing you are truly free
